Lately I've been a little obsessed with Rombauer Chardonnay. I'm not usually a white wine drinker, but we consumed quite a bit of this loveliness while out at restaurants, over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. And now I want some. And it is at NONE of my usual wine stores! Boo.
Of course, it also costs the amount I generally spend on four bottles of wine.
This is the description of the wine, from Rombauer's website:
Rombauer Vineyards' 2005 Carneros Chardonnay is a rich wine with layers of tropical fruit, peaches and pears. The fruit opens up into creamy textures of apples and pears that glide across the palate. Hints of citrus and light oak tones highlight the wine's lingering finish.
How can you not want a sip of this?
