It's official.
The worst thing about making the transition from college to two years in the 'real world' (notice the quotes) to grad school is not learning to study again, or learning to write papers again...it is nothing academic at all.
The worst thing is that I had gotten into a regular sleep pattern: early to bed and early to rise (at least very early compared to my college years). And now I've thrown that all away to return to college's motto of: We'll sleep when we're dead/all the work is done/we have a blessed free weekend. I'm again catching snatches of sleep between the hours of 3:30 and 9 (AM). And it's a lot harder than it used to be.

i can top that. try staying up late/pulling all-nighters 1)in another country and 2) when you live with parents who want you to sit down and have a lovely breakfast with them.
=miserable
studying abroad is supposed to be easy and full of traveling! it was a super bad idea to take 5 classes, an internship, and 2 classes over the interweb.
suck it up.... i am taking 8 credits, working fulltime, attending numerous football games, hitting happy hours up on fridays and all day benders on saturdays.
all the while remaining the coolest cousin, and probably kid you know.
ps: i hope we are having alot of turkey at thanksgiving, and by turkey i mean steak
