Okay, this post actually has nothing to do with sex. There will be no sex in this blog entry. It is just me being amused by a single girl's cart at the grocery store. Single girls do not shop like real people. Single girls go to the grocery store for specifics (in my case, cat food) and end up with an interesting mix of things they need and things they randomly pick up off the shelves. Unless they are having dinner parties or trying to impress someone or something.
Actually, let's look at my life. If you want to have sex, here is what NOT to buy at the grocery store:
- IAMs kitten food
- pack of pink bic razors
- 1 pack of Morning Farms Spicy Black Bean Burgers
- Pack of chocolate chip cookies
- single serving bottle of tropicana orange juice
- tomato mozarella and basil premade ravioli
-Suave kids cherry burst shampoo
- Orbit cinnamon gum
These are the necessities of life.
In other news, I am trying to figure out what bothers me so much about people calling me "sweetie" or "darling" or whatever other endearing little phrase them come up with for me on the phone. Is it a feminist thing? An ageist thing? Do I feel I'm being spoken down to? Certainly, though I don't think that's the intention. I can't even contemplate talking to someone like that on the phone. It makes me cringe. It's gross.

If I'm not allowed to call you kumquat or poodle, I'm not sure what I'll call you.
I call people pet names because I'm really very bad with actual names and it's just easier if everyone is poodle.
Also I finally named my myspace page.
Oh, I don't care if YOU call me these things. I am talking about people I have never met, on the phone, in a PROFESSIONAL environment.
